Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB), as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, donated eight benches to RIPAS Hospital, Ministry of Health.

The handover ceremony took place at the Women and Children’s Centre, RIPAS Hospital. The benches were presented by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Muhd Shukri bin Haji Ahmad, Executive Director, Syariah Finance as the Chairman of BDCB’s CSR Committee, to Yang Mulia Awang Haji Hazis bin Haji Ahad, Chief Executive Officer of RIPAS Hospital. The ceremony was also attended by officers from both RIPAS Hospital and BDCB.

The donated benches will be placed in selected wards and waiting areas, aiming to provide enhanced comfort for patients and their guardians. BDCB hopes that these additions will provide greater convenience and contribute to improving the hospital environment.

This initiative underscores BDCB’s commitment to community development, fostering a caring community and the overall betterment of society.
